SDI Professional Services provides a wide variety of Internet-based services including domain name registration, web-site hosting, SMTP/POP3 email hosting, application servers, instant messaging hosting, and groupware hosting.
- Domain Name Registration. We offer registration of domain names (www.myname.com) at the same rate we pay for our own registrations, typically $9.95 per domain for one year. The more years registered the cheaper the registration cost. We take care of researching domain name availability and handling the purchasing, configuring, and notifications of yearly renewals.
- Web-Site Hosting. This is our most popular service. We typically charge $14.95 for site-hosting only or $19.95 for both site and email-hosting.
- POP3/SMTP/IMAP Email Hosting. Either combined with web-site hosting or as a stand-alone service, we offer POP3 and IMAP email accounts.
- Application Servers. We provide custom application servers for online game engines, database communications, remote backup, and our client/server applications.
- Instant Messaging Hosting. This is probably the most unique service that we offer our clients. We provide private instant-messaging for small business. The advantages of this are reduced message latency, greater message privacy, increased system reliability, and no requirement for multiple accounts with AOL, Google, MSN, Yahoo, or other large provider.
